About Us

I should actually call this page About "Me" since Cayenne Paper is a one-person operation! I'm Katie Tardiff and I am the owner and designer of Cayenne Paper. I have always loved browsing stationery stores and began making my own stationery and invitations for family and friends. This "hobby" of mine became more of a passion, so I decided to open my own online store. I was born and raised in New Orleans and wanted to incorporate that distinct "flavor" into my designs. In 2003, my aunt came up with the name of "Cayenne Paper" and that is when my business was officially open and online!

I also work full-time as a preschool special education teacher and speech-language pathologist. Plus, I stay very busy as the mother of toddler twins. So, if you get my voicemail, just leave a message and I'll call you back as soon as I can. I still believe in the power of good customer service, though, so I will do everything I can to make sure you get the best service and quality when placing your order!
